Course Curriculum Overview
My choice of studies has a lot to do with my personal beliefs and my family. I chose this course because I wanted to gain knowledge and experience in this criteria. At that time it was an uprising course too. Generally in my class there are 100 students and approximately 120 so there are 6 teachers, who teach us. so the ratio is 20:1(students : teachers). Mid-term takes around August and end term about September- October in a semester. The exams in the second semester are much harder than the first semester. the teaching faculty is great when it comes to being friendly and helpfulness.
Internships Opportunities
The objective for you is to expose us to industrial engineering works, like design, production, maintenance, services.etc. There were many programs to be done like the accessing of the data analysis work, Data assembling work and some non-governmental works etc. Overall this was important for your grades and helped you a lot in moving forward in life.
Placement Experience
the campus placement process takes place during the pre-final exam of your last semester, where you need to register with the T&P cell. The students who want to apply for specific companies will have to fill out that form as well but if some misunderstandings occur they can freely approach the T&P cell. Many companies have approached the PDEU campus," including AMAZON, MAHINDRA& MAHINDRA, GROWW, JIO, L'OREAL, ADITYA BIRCLA CAP. etc". The average package is Rs.6,50,000 per annum. The highest was of Rs.38,00,000 package to a CSE branched. More than 100 companies were in this placement seminar. there is a high percentage for you to get a placement here, nearly 80% of students get placements here. My plans after getting a degree is to get a good job and then live my life exploring places where I have never been.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are taken in the following ways per semester, Tuition Fees- Rs1,45,000 University enrollment fees-Rs3,000 Training and placement facility-Rs1,000 Student welfare funds- Rs5,000 Insurance charges- Rs2,000 Library deposits(refundable)-Rs2,000 security deposits(refundable)- Rs2,000 On the financial assistant did a student loan. It is very manageable in this way.
Campus Life
Socio-cultural Mega- fest was performed in the past years and many more like the most important, Tesseract which is the annual science and technical fest conducted here. It was a great and inspiring moment for me to be there. Talking about the library there are all categories of books available from science, and fiction, to biographies basically "A-Z" all the books are available. The classrooms are big and have port charging systems everywhere with digitalized blackboards. there are many grounds made for different sports i.e. football, cricket, tennis, badminton etc. and many games are also played. There are many types of clubs like the news club and many others which can't be named.
Admission
Eligibility for this course is at least an 80 percentile in the JEE Mains examination. You can find the application form on the official website of PDEU. The application dates last between the 1st to 3rd week of June. The application fees are varied for Gujarat residents it's Rs.350, while on the other hand, the outside Gujarat residents have to pay Rs.500 for the application form. They should probably keep updating their website in case improvement is needed.
