Hostel facility is quite good here. It offers 2 seater room from first year.
Sports facilities is goot it has good grounds of circket and football.
Library of SVNIT is great to study. It has peaceful environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical engineering is a circuital branch. So the placement scene of electrical engineering is quite good. Also, some courses in computer science are included in the syllabus of electrical engineering here. Exams here are not that difficult. You can easily pass if you study regularly. Professors are good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of SVNIT Surat are? 1,25,000 per year excluding the hostel and mess fees. You can easily get various scholarships here through the college. You need to have a Bonafide certificate. Also, you can get a loan from the bank.

Campus Life

SVNIT is spread over a vast campus area of 250 acre. It is full of Greenery. The infrastructure is also up to the mark. It has a huge library with a huge collection of books. It has a separate court for basketball and tennis. There is a gym on the campus.

Admission

You have to appear in JEE mains and Clear the required cutoff. You have to fill exam form on the official site of JEE mains. Keep visiting the official site for updates regarding exam dates. In JEE mains separate reservation is there for GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC-ST.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available.
