Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty member is really helpful and good they don't treat you as students they actually treat you as children, very respectful. I chose this course because I was not very sure of what I wanted to do ahead of my higher studies so I decided to go with a degree so I could get more exposure to different subjects. Faculties are very professional and always give a helping hand to the students. I was pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce and it was a three years degree program there were in total 6 semesters which were held in December- January and the second exam would be held in March- April, the exams are challenging for students but that's a good thing I guess so the students can really be studying and learning

Placement Experience

3

I guess the degree B.com is very common and you don't get good jobs until you have tons of good skills to portray to the employer anyways B.com prepares you for your masters. There are good placements in this college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is really cheap it's just 6500 for first years and 7000 for second years and then 8500 for third year. There are some scholarships available for students for financial aid who are from minorities

Campus Life

4.5

There are tons of events happening in this college every day and considering it is all about some competitions so that you build your personality, you build your skills such as public speaking, and being confident. sports is also quite good there is a huge ground for students to play.

Admission

the admission process was very simple and it was not much of a hectic one, for my specific degree there was the non-entrance exam. The application process is quite simple you just have to register on their website and upload documents through Mumbai University and then you just wait for the merit list to come if you've been admitted to the college.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
