BIT MESRA:A 'Roller Coaster' Ride of higher learning

I chose this course as at my rank I was only getting Mechanical Engineering. The faculty-to-student station is 1:15. Most of the Faculty are the Ph.D. holder, and others have already submitted their Thesis. Mid-term was within 1.5 months of classes commencement, It was Moderately hard.

The Students are eligible for campus placement for the 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus, to name a few, SAMSUNG, Exide, Airtel, etc. The Highest package offered was 51 lakhs per annum, by Microsoft, and 52 lakhs per annum, offered by CRED . The average package is 14.75 lakhs per annum, and company data is not revealed. In total 78% of students got placed. I am planning to appear for GATE after the degree.

The fee hike every year is around 5-10%. Compared to other GFTI it is very expensive. The college provides the GP Birla Scholarship on the basis of the Merit list, other than that there is no Financial assistance provided to the students.

BITotsav is the Annual fest held in BIT MESRA, and PANTHEON is the technical fest. BITotsav is conducted in the month of January or February, and PATHEON is conducted in the month of October. There is a vast and wide collection of books ranging from academics to creative arts. The classroom has a projector and is installed in AC. Seats are very comfortable and single seater . There are many sports played inside the campus like Football, volleyball, Badminton, etc There are also athlete meets.

The rooms are very small, they have given single seater rooms and allowed it to 2 students. The condition of the room is not good enough also there is no laundry room or common reading room in the hostel. They have provided a TT room which includes Table Tennis and Carrom also we are provided with a common TV room. The meal tastes good, except for some items, also they dont feed healthy(green) vegetables. The registration process for Hostel takes place with the Admission process of Universities.

The BIT MESRA admersity, mission process is an integral part of joining the organization. To enter university, You must meet specific requirements depending on the subject you are interested in. Most courses require you to take an entrance exam. The college follows the government rules and hence the seats are divided into groups like SC, ST, OBC, and EWS. You must Appear in the JEE MAINS exam and participate in JOSSA/CSAB Counseling. The last seat cutoff for the General category is 80,000 rank(All India ).
