This course had the demand when i joined in ... and also i had interest on coding ... so it was best suited for me the faculty:student ratio initially in online classes were 1:120 in the offline classes it was 1:70 .. the exams level was also medium ... on avg ..every month we would have 1 exam

the placements in vit is said to be good ... since i am 2025 pass out student... i am yet to see them .. the fees pretty high 2 L min to 6L at max per student per year Schlarship is chosen based on the rank secured in viteee exam ... the top 100-200 students would get category 1 in cse core at max

the annual and tech fest is all done very grandly at vit the vibrance is said to be the best culturals among all the other clg culturals . there is lot of scope for sports and extra curricular activities at vit ... the best part of vit is the wide opportunities that they provide to the students ..... it has doors for all domains

the hostel fee is pretty high since vit chennai is in a city ..as the living cost is high at chennai.. the hostel foods are average registration for hostel is done thrgh vtop portal . pg can also be taken around the campus ... they come in affordable prices

application - official website application fees- 1000+gst eligibility - 60% marks in 10th and 12th I wrote VITEE and got 10k rank ... applied for counselling and got vitcc btech cse core (2nd category) so many students got in through outside influence(political and non-political) too ....

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains.
