life at NIRMA UNIVERSITY

I chose this course because I was interested in doing an integrated course and also it was a good failsafe as after 3 years if I get selected in CAT I can go to another college to do MBA but if not hen I can do MBA from here. in my batch, each class had 80 students and we had 1 professor for 6-7 subjects. every faculty has multiple qualifications and their teaching method was very adaptive. we gad a 2-semester system and had our team exam every 6 months. before that, we had mid-term exams, 4 quizzes, 1 group, and individual assignments for each subject.

I had done a social internship at an NGO after completing my first year. it was a 1-month internship and I did it in my hometown. we have to do internships every year and are also provided a stipend for corporate internships. we are given specific tasks to do during the whole period and send weekly and final reports of our progress to college. then after coming back, we have to give a viva and presentation of our internship.

I dont know much about placements as I am in 2nd year but this year's average MBA package was 12.20 LPA. My plan after BBA is to take CAT and attempt for IIM but if not I think I will do my MBA from here only.

The tuition fees are considerable as the tuition fees are the same for the BBA phase and include other one-time payments like for books, and student activity. The college provides scholarships on both merit and merit-cum-means basis. in which it is for Gujrati applicants and other applicants. Also, the stipend is provided for internships but not for 1s year.

The campus life is very enriching. with a wide range of sports facilities, many cultural and social events continuously take place. the library is massive with a very wide range consisting of all topics. events like Invictus and Genesis keep the students busy. apart from the annual events, many other events of the clubs and committees like Khal Nayak, abhivyakti, Aditya at, mavericks, deja vu, and thespians are very interesting. sports facilities are nice and the classrooms are well equipped.

I applied to Nirma University after applying to other colleges. As they considered the IPMAT score for admission in this integrated course, I did not have to take any other exam. eligibility was 60% and above in 12th and there were certain provisions for Gujrat and foreign students. application form, fees, and dates were available on the official website and after the release of the IPMAT score, we had to enter it in our application form. after a few, I got an mail about being selected for online PI.

I was selected for PI as there was no GD. My interview was taken by 3 interviewers and I was very comfortable with the 10-minute PI. I was asked questions related to general awareness, mathematics, recent news, and related to my skills and hobbies. I was very prepared for the PI as I had already given PIs to other colleges.
