- The faculty is quite good. They are very knowledgeable and very much helpful.
- The institute does it teach some of the useless subjects like biology and workshops. It has a very new and good course structure

- It does not has its own campus but very soon it should be done.
- There is a lack of infrastructure in the institute as it is currently operating in Weber building.

Course Curriculum Overview
Our electronics department has almost 6 to 7 professors in total and this year we have around 53 students in our batch. All of the teachers are from prestigious institutions like IIT Delhi,IIT Hyderabad,IIT Kgp, Calcutta University etc. All of them have done doctorate in their own fields and some of them have also done post doctoral research from institutes like Nanyang Institute of Technology and National Central University of Taoyuan. Overall the faculty in this college is very good and friendly.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Amazon, Samsung Dogitals, TCS, Deloitte, Jio, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Wipro, Sigmoid, Ola, Cognizant provide internship in our college. Students also get academic internships in institutes like IIT KGP, IIT Bombay, IISc etc.
Placement Experience
In fourth year students get the opportunity to sit for campus placement. Some companies that visits are jio, quolomm, sigmoid, Tata Consultancy Services, Ola, Samsung Electronics , Capgemini, Cognizant, Share Chat, Deloitte, Ericsson, Amazon, Goldman Sachs etc. Highest salary offered was 26.41 LPA by Amazon, Average Salary was 12.76 LPA and median salary was 12 LPA. In 2022-23 placement percentage was 89.65%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of studying here is pretty low than some of the private colleges like VIT, KIIT or SRM but much higher than some state universities like Jadavpur University, KGEP and JGEP. But fortunately there is EWS quota and also students can avail loans while studying.
Campus Life
As this college does not have its own campus, as of now there is no annual feat as such. But there is definitely tech feat like StatusCode. There is one library in our college that lends upto four books for 14 days. All classrooms has projectors and are fully air conditioned. There are many clubs in our college like literature club, robotics club, dramatics club, music club, dance club etc. Also we have GDSC club in our institute which conduct regular sessions.
Admission
For the getting into IIIT Kalyani, one need to clear the JEE Nains examination and need to have around 50 thousands rank. One major flaw is that there is no female reservations seats. Other than that OBC,SC,ST,EWS and PWD reservations are available. One necessary improvement needed in this college is the requirement of its own campus. It should be completed in the near future.
