Course Curriculum Overview

4

I've chosen computer science and engineering as I've always been in keen knowledge of software and development of machine just because I've been a Hard-core gamer and it excites me more to know about the functioning behi d those graphics. Faculty members of my college have always been kind and supportive to all pf the students they've just never refused for any kind of subjective help and always given a firm support for project building. As for the exams somehow i just feel the semester is too short and mid terms come as close as the semester starts within 1 month which according to me is a bit unsettling then also as for passing the exams if you study up to syllabus and ask for your faculty for important or basic functionalities then you'll be able to clear the exams very easily

Internships Opportunities

2.5

On campus internship are offered by several companies to the students such as tcs and incedo and COMVIVA INC. Students in research and development have opportunity to participate in research projects organised by faculty members in collaboration eith several corporation and organisations

Placement Experience

3

At 6th semester students are eligible for on campus internship and from the 7th semester the on-placement starts for the BTech course. Several companies visit for recruitment such as Tcs, Infosys, Newgen, saas labs, adani group the highest package can be 9 lpa and average package is around 5 lpa. As for my plans my centric goal is for on campus placement and then after getting a job i would like to take CAT exam and apply for a MBA program which would help me improve my marketing skills more.

Fees and Financial Aid

As for the fee structure i haven't seen any hike of the fees structure and it seems best to me there are various scholarships provided by the college itself for economically weaker sections (ews) and there's also e-district scholarship for backward sections (SC,ST, OBC) as per i talk with my seniors they usually get internships out campus rather than relying for on campus placement and as for the job opportunities bvcoe is known for it's placements and opportunities for the betterment of future of it's students

Campus Life

4

Social life at bvcoe is way much lively as you'd find different people with different tastes and persona every year several fest are organised and one big annual fest is organised, the books are available on daily basis you can just take them on weekly basis if you're not willing to pay the book bank fees and if you've paid that you can take them up for the semester and have to return after the end semester examination otherwise the fine will be imposed for the same and the book bank fees will get refunded after the completion of course , all of the classrooms are equipped with ac's and projectors and a spacious classroom where a total of 50 students can sit at once there is also a spost fedt organised every tear and trials are also held for the same you can take part in several sports as per your choice. As for the clubs there are several non-technical and technical clubs u can take part in such as edumiverva , code-chef , GDSC, and Agaaz(music society) for which interviews are taken.

Admission

First of all i have to be eligible for the entrance exam which is mandatory for all at my time before cuet and i was eligible as i scored a clean 89% in my 12th board exams then i applied for jee mains examination and in the third round for exact i got eligible for jee advanced though my rank was not upto my expectations and in jee advanced u wasn't able to clear the examination that somewhat broken me from inside because of all the efforts put in then i applied for ipu University allotment of college and i got Bharati Vidyapeeth college of engineering in my second round of allotment for B.tech cse then as admission process started with i grabbed the opportunity and froze my seat if there would be any improvements in the admission process then it would be a specific date for all of the applicants taking admission in college (according to me) as giving different dates just creates a lot of fuss around

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
