Campus night life i hate the most here because we don't have permission to roam in night
Campus surrounding is also not good because we don't have anything outside to roam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to become a software developer. faculty to faculty-student ratio here is 200:1. all the faculty are highly qualified, college approves only those who have a master's degree. every 5 to 6 months we have to appear for semester examinations and it is so difficult to pass we have to read a whole year to pass out.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Flipkart and many other major recruiters came here for placement and they made an offer of about 400. the highest and lowest packages they had received were 5lakhs to 7lakhs per annum and they offered frontend and backend developer profiles. around 60 to 70 per cent got placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for this course is very simple we have to pay 1lakhs per year for study and 60k per year for hostels and mess fees. some government scholarships are available that come once a year and some of my seniors have got jobs on our campus.

Campus Life

Gajjyoti is our annual fest and it is conducted in December. our library is 2 floors which are well stocked with all types of books and journals. we have so many playgrounds on the campus to play like badminton, cricket, football, basketball, and many others. there are many clubs;e available on our campus like a dance club, a singing club, and many others too.

Hostel Facilities

our hostels have 3 beds per room with 3 fans per person. our meal quality is very bad in our mess and they always repeat the same menu. we have to register for a hostel when we are admitted to the college. if you want to rent a room or PG then it is within walking distance from our campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

if you have 65% overall in PCM then you are eligible for this course in this college. you can get the admission form on the college website itself, the application fee is 1000, and the application dates will be announced college itself on their website. there are no reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

CUTM Paralakhenundi is fun!!

I applied for GIET University and KIIT university and I was invited by both the universities. I thought chose this as Centurion University is like older than them and has AICTE approval before them. Orissa Joint Entrance Examination score is accepted by the university as you can fill the admission form online on CUTM website and if your 12th marks and OJEE score is as per the university cut-off you will receive and invitation letter and soon you can find yourself studying in this prestigious university....Read More
