Remarks

Sharda university Management lacks in coordination with different management. This is the only major problem in the university. There is a huge communication Gap between diffrent managemnets of same course.

Entrance Preview

As I took Bca so I only gave SUAT. It is a sharda university admission test. Which you need to qualify and after that, you have to appear for an interview. After that as per your performace desicion of selection is being made.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is pretty wide. You need to learn each and everything. Practical plays a vital role in getting success in your subject during examination. It would help you to solve various problems easily. The course curriculum is according to the UGC guidelines but one should have proper knowledge about it.

Internships Opportunities

Yes college do provide internships but they also have an selection criteria because of limited seats. Mostly internships are withing the campus. So its better to find internship outiside campus by appearing in different interviews by your own.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities is not so good. They have their own criteria. Its better to study hard if you want to appear for an interview. You need to be a excellent student if you want to sit in an interview i.e above 80%. 100% job placement is a myth. Keep in mind if you are an average student then it must be hard to get a placement.

College Events

4.5

There are many cultural activities of different countries are celebrated. Fresher party, best painting competetion, nukkad nataks, coke studio was also organied by university when i was in college, dj nights for hostelers, sports day, teachers Day and many other events are been celebrated in sharda university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of univeristy is quite high. But it is worth paying as per their infrstructure. Fee varies from one program to another . As it iis a private university fee is oviously going to be high. As per their standards. You can also pay fee through online portal of sharda university without visiting in a person to a fee center.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yea sharda university also offers various scholarships. You can avail scholarships if you meet the certain eligibilty criteria of univeristy.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is almost equal in sharda university. You meet different kind of people from different country. Sharda university is the top choice of. International student in recent times. They are having student from 36 international coutry which is the most by any university in India you can also get a chace to know about diffrent cultures and activities. You can find people of every race here. Sports and extra curricular are organised almost every month. Monthly workshops. With foreigner lectures sometimes are the part of it. You can also take parts in varous events organised by sharda university.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are good neat and clean. Hostel buildings are having good infrastructure with all the facilities installed in it. If I talk about hostel food the food is quite average. It is better to take PG and cook your own food. PG prices range from 10,000 per month to 20,000 depends on your budget. You have to decide.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, it would help alumni get connected to their old friends. Help them to reach via alumni portal. Get to know about their jobs and even they cab post a job vacancy if needed. They have a very good alumni portal. You can share your experience with your old friends & other people. You can also get in touch with your seniors who can guide you through the outside journey of your life after completion of your degree/program.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is pretty simple you just need to ask you're the concerned department for the exam structure as it differs from program to program. Externals/ practicals play a vital role in promoting to the next semester/year. So always try to score well in that. Mini and minor projects are also included in the examination schemes.

Admission

I got admission by giving SUAT test & personal interview. And also by meeting the eligibily criteria of the course. Note:- every program have their own eligibily criteria. Before filling the form you should check your eligibily criteria just to avoid your rejection.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of Sharda university is highly qualified. You can check their qualification on Sharda.ac.in all the details about the faculty is given over there. They are experienced having deep knowledge about their subject which they are teaching. So this could not be a problem to a student who wants to learn in deep into their interesting subject.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Reviewed on Apr 7, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.
