Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very supportive and encouraging. The college conducts exams from time to time. I chose this course because I wanted to enter it industry. There are training labs and dsa classes.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Due to the recession, a lot of companies are not coming. However, TCS, Wipro, etc come with very low packages. The placement of btech is good but not bca. Around 100 students are placed out of 300. You can do MCA after bca.

Fees and Financial Aid

The average package is 3 lpa and the maximum is around 5 to 6 lpa the fee is 2 lakh 70000. There is no financial assistance. So overall it is ok. Companies like TCS, and Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte come for placement.

Campus Life

You can take books from the library. It is good and a lot of authors are available. The annual fest is ignitia which happens in March. There is a projector and AC in class. There are nss clubs for those who are interested in sports.

Admission

Anyone who has maths in class 12 can take admission. No entrance exam. Contact psit admission cell to take admission. The security deposit is rs 25000 to take admission. Then it is deducted from the total fees.

Interview Experience

No, there was just a personal interview in which maths questions were asked otherwise one can take admission because there is no entrance exam and all so no need to worry just come to Psit with rs 25000 in hand.

The college provides good placements.Students can become eligible for placements from 3rd year . More than 20 companies visit for campus placements which give multiple offers. Highest package offered -12lpa and average package is around 5lpa.I am planning to pursue MCA after my BCA degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
