Remarks

In conclusion it was a good learning experience.. And after spending a major time of my youth in those campus I'll always miss it..

Entrance Preview

I gave CET exam and got itno this college as it was and is well respected in Mumbai..it also has minority quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum not just in Saboo Siddiq College everywhere else too has become very rigid, with extensive assignments and practicals, with respect to other developed countries our syllabus has been still far behind the optimum requirement which has created a vacuum between the pass-out graduates and the job vacancies

Internships Opportunities

Yes they do i guess... I dont know much about it coz i never applied..i was already on a part time job so i guess my experience would be very different from one who has gone for internship via college..

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement rates have reduced a lot for all the colleges of engineering specially and other graduations in general.. Although there were few companies in my college too TCS, Infosys being the common ones to come, the placement rate and packages have been quite average..

College Events

3.5

Lot many events were celebrated in the college... We also had lot of committees with each organising thier iwn events with time... Thier were many events celebrated together such as annual day of the college, Engineer's day, annual fest, etc Various competition and drives were also organised by various committees...

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was a bit feasible during the 1st year but it kept increasing with every passing year now i don't know whether it was the reflection of inflation or the policies of Shikshan samiti but it became quite a burden on lot many students... Thanks to various trust and minority scheme of that time..

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio was good.. Specially in IT and computers branch other branches lacked the strength of female students.. Extracurricular activities were regular and very interesting to take part in.. Overall environment of the college specially offered by the students was really good and participative with no / least intolerance of any kind

Alumni/Alumna

I have good experiences with my senior but only till the time they were in college as the first few years after college is quite struggling it becomes difficult to maintain contact.. Alumni used to visit college at times but it has always been a formal introduction and motivation kind of a meet..

Exam Structure

Exam structure was fine...but internals were and has always been a tension to lot many students of engineering specially and same was the case with me..as i have also been a student of low attendance.. so my experiences were not less than a nightmare...but if a student is "studios" with very good attendance he/she can survive the "judgement days"

Admission

After the name was displayed on the list i went to submit my documents and pay the fees...fees should be paid before the 2nd list is out or else it will automatically cancel the admission..choice of the branch depends on the availability of it..as 1st come 1st serve method is followed

Faculty

3

Faculty of the college keeps changing one can not say a fix statement for the same...also at times for few subjects there are some good teachers and for few one student has to manage on thier own to cover most of the syllabus..and this case is universal and one will find same in other colleges too..

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
