Okay college

College has huge location disadvantage and very poor management.ok kind of faculty,normal infrastructure.overall not so engineering college.

I appeared for Odisha JEE in which had average score and wanted to opt for some core branch and got EEE.

Coming to course structure.they don't give any elective subjects to students,it's only in there paper but colleges decides it for all the students.There doesn't exist any research work sort of thing.less focus on practicals only theory classes.total 43 subjects in 8 Semesters.exam were also not timely at our time and results used to be too late.

Big no regarding this.No internship at all even of you get any training or internship opportunity outside,the college would not allow you to go for that. thet just have study tour every year which is just good fun for the students like a picnic.main study tour is of Banglore one.That is of not much use.

Placement only exist on papers and college brochure. companies do come college but maximum are job consultancy.some off campus are arranged by college as it is in Gandhi group but for that also you have to pay to join the company.In campus people gets placed in companies but don't get their offer letter as maximum companies are fake only which student get to know after the college when they are not able to join.

Twice in four years we had tech fest which was all managed by students only college management had no role in that.But faculties were helpful with that.annual fest is compulsory as it is organised by college management and annual spots to.But that's only because aicte and bput has norms for that.some inter college sports events also take place but not of much standard.no intercollegiate cultural fest is being held here.

Fee structure is good.its not very expensive one. tution fee was around 60000.hostel was 50000 around I don't remember exactly so these are the rough figure.once they charged more fee than allowed by aicte which they compensated here and there but that happened once only.

Loan you can get form any nationalized bank or private bank.Normal education loan.scholarship is not there as per my knowledge.

Gender ratio differs branch wise in cs 50/50 in ECE 70/30 in EEE 90/10 in mechanical 95/5. Cultural diversity- 90% students are odia only 10% outsides that to maximum form neighboring states.There are some clubs for name sake.yea you will feel discrimination on the basis of gender and ethnic orientations from faculties as well as college management.

Hostel is good they lodging is good.Spacious rooms with attached bathroom which is ye best part.There used to be 4 sharing and 3 sharing rooms in hostel.regarding food it's is horrible means seriously horrible not ever average it's very bad.They don't let you take your food on your own they'll serve you limited quantity which is very less.There is one small dhaaba outside.Charges for hostel and food was approx 50000.you have to bring you own pillow,bed sheet, matrices.

Only seniors helpful no one else.yiu have to learn From them how to servive and excell. College do not maintain good relation with alumni as there are no frequent alumni meets or any sort of interaction.

Exams,practicals,internals were all on time and in very strict manner which is good.Three internals in every semester and then the final semester.conduction of exam is very smooth and they are very good in conducting it,as no nonsense is entertained.

I was having OJEE score and was not getting any good college,then gift college came to my city for spot admission as their seats didn't filled up as always.So I got admission there and then went to college once for online counseling,that was just a formality.

Faculty yes there were some of them.Most faculties were just b.tech pass out from local colleges of Odisha. Faculty retention rate is very less I would say near to zero.In our 4 years all the good faculties left because of the college management. Most faculties use local guide books to teach and lot of focus on notes making.
