Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this because there is a very good research culture. All faculty are Ph.D. and this college has nirf 24 and center of excellence of the Maharashtra govt. Faculty to student ratio is amazing. In my branch, there are only 19 seats.
Internships Opportunities
Asian paints, BASF, Jsw, Bombay dyes, Tata steel, Many other big companies come for research internships also. Many colleges accept ICT students to do research projects on their campus. IIT Bombay sometimes gives the opportunity.
Placement Experience
Placement is decent in terms of chemical branches here. The big company comes for placement like Asian paints. The college's average package is 8 LPA and internships are also provided by the college and paid internships are provided to some branches.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many private and govt scholarship opportunities are given to my college. You have to apply and prove to yourself that u are worthy or not. For example, reliance provides scholarships. They take a test and decide whom to give
Campus Life
In ICT there is a fest and test culture. Even we have fest just 1 day before exams. Every month there must be an event. Most of the time there are 2 events per month. Sports facilities are decent. No ac in the classroom, but some of the halls have it. There are many extracurricular activities here, it is like you have to choose wisely what you have to do as there are many activities throughout the academic year.
Hostel Facilities
Mess food is decent and sometimes good. The registration process is very smooth And very affordable hostels, despite being in south Bombay it is only 2.5k per month for room and 3k for food per month. All staff are friendly.
Admission
50 percent aggregate in 12th (physics, chemistry, mathematics). MHT CET website and for all India seat candidate has to give jee and apply the CET counseling through the jee quota. Should be done earlier jee mains.
