Best Private college for Study Civil Engineering in Kolkata

Faculty is good. Placement is above average. Canteen quality is good. Management is good.

I have admission on this college by JELET exam which is lateral entry in 2nd year after completed my diploma in Civil Engineering. Techno India is the best college in west Bengal (private) for it's result, faculty, campusing etc. So I can choose this college for study this college for study b.tech in civil Engineering.

Course structure is very good. Course structure is controlled by Maulana Abul Kalam Ajad University of Technology which is formally knows as West Bengal University of technology. All subject, practical labs which is need in Civil Engineering , are provide in our course. They are focusing us in every subject & every practical experiments.

In 4th year this college provide internships in different companies, Govt. Sector , PSU sector. Which is very helpful for students. Internship marks also effect on our final result.

Various types of company came for placement, in my stream Civil Engineering companies are L&T, STUP, SIMPLEX, TATA CONSTRUCTION etc. Different IT sector companies are came there for placement of Civil , mechanical, electrical, CSE ,IT dept. Students.

In my college every year celebrated Fresher's, social, TechFest, etc which is organised by college management. On social , famous singer comes to our college campus for singing. In TechFest different technical event was created by the student. Overall different types of event were held on this college.

Total 4 year which is divided in 8 semester . Average semester fee is Rs. 45000 without folding & lodging. But in my case I have get admission in direct 2nd year with JELET. So ,in that case my course is 3 year which is divided into 6 semester. So, my total semester fee was less then others.

Scholarship available only for SC,ST & OBC candidates from Govt. Of west Bengal. Loan facility is available on this college.

Campus is very good But play ground is below average. I enjoyed in my campus life in various ways like study, fun, interaction with faculty. Faculty was very helpful. Gender ratio almost fifty fifty. Labs are also good. All type of instrument are present there. There was a very high level competition in the class.

There is separate hostels for girls and boys , outside of campus. Hostel quality is below average but food quality is good. Rs. 4500 per month charges for fooding & lodging . In hostel , there is no WiFi facility. In hostel interaction of senior & junior is very good.

My seniors are very helpful. They are help in my study , assignment understanding etc. They are very active for helping juniors.

In 4 year , there was 8 semester which is main exam. In single semester , there is 2 internal exam of all subject. In semester exam there is Practical , lab exam & also theory exam . Every subject has 100 marks. Which is divided into 30 in internal & 70 in semester.

After completed my JELET exam , they would published a rank score card. On this basis they could take admission. On my time total admission procedure is in offline. But now admission procedure is in online. Admission procedure is very easy. If any problem there is also available a helpline number.

Our Civil Engineering depertment faculty is very good. Most of them came from different IIT, NIT. They are very helpful. They are also very talented. They are teach us in details & they are make note himself and provide us for make good marks in semester.
