VIT management is very much composed as they plan their academics before the year starts and follows it. The overall remark about the college is excellent.

I entered this college using online process i.e. CAP selection process. This is well known college for engineering in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Also this college is near my house. So I opted it over other colleges.

The course curriculum is nicely build. Students should understand the concept through basics and this curriculum will surely help to get the basics done and on based on this students can further go for research based study. At few semeters, candidate have to opt elective subject based on candidate's interest.

Yes, VIT suggest students to attend internship during the vacation period. College mediates between students and internship providers. And few internship courses are conducted in college.

The placement and job opportunities at VIT is good. Many companies visit the college for placement activity. The TCS has selected 143 students with the package of 3.36 L and LTI have selected 141 students with the package of 3.18 L. Also ATOS have selected 9 students with the package of 3.10 L. Also companies like Indian Navy, Capgemini, Multiplier etc visit the college for placements.

Every year VIT conducts a huge event known as VERVE which takes place in the month of February. It is celebrated for three days and occupies the whole college campus. Various events are conducted in the fields of technical events, cultural events, literature events and fun events. The whole college contributes to carrying out the event of VERVE successfully.

The fees structure is based on caste quota system. Fees for open category are around 1.3L. For the OBC category the fees are approximately Rs 65,000 and for St/sc/nt category the fees are approximately Rs 15,000. Also college encourage students who are from economical backward class (EBC) to get the scholarship.

The college provides loan facilities only for the students who wants to persui the MS from outside India.

Generally, the gender ratio is about 60-40 boys and girls respectively. College throws a freshers party for all the newcomers in order to make communication easy with seniors and other students. Also, there are various committees who conduct different workshops, events which are beneficial for the students. Also, many sports activities and cultural events are conducted.

The college Vidyalankar Institute of Technology does not provide hostel facilities but there are students from other house Universities who stay near the college campus as a paying guest and the rent is around 7000 per month which includes food and rent of the house. The room is usually shared between four people.

The Vidyalankar has exclusive batchwise directory for the alumini to connect them with their friends and batchmates and also the seniors in college are very much helpful.

The college follows the pattern given by the Mumbai University. According to that they conduct two unit test in a semester. First unit test is conducted in the 5th week and second unit test is conducted in the 14th week. After that students appear for the Viva, practical exams and then the students appear for the end semester examination.

After completion of my diploma course, we had to fill online form. The details for the same were given in the booklet provided by the ARC centers. We had to choose 15 college with preferences i.e. first preference college will be allocated to the candidate if he/she is eligible for the admission. Once the candidate is selected, he/she has to go to respective college for the document, fees submission and admission.

At Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, teachers are we highly qualified, many of faculties have done their Masters and post graduation. The faculty is strict about the attending the lecture and they also make sure that every individual is progressing well in the studies.
