Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is best. I chose this course because I am interested in Mathematics and the computational portion. The faculty of IIT Ropar is well qualified and very fascinating. The teaching method of the faculty is very efficient. There are two main exams in one semester(1/2 year) and two quizzes. The first exam is an average-level exam but the other one is a very logical and hard exam.
Placement Experience
From the third year, the students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies who visited IIT Ropar such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, and many more. The average package of IIT Ropar is 2099000 and the highest package of IIT Ropar is 8800000 I want to do a job via placement in the company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is defined per semester. The hostel fee for 6 months is 12500 and the course fee for 6 months is 106000. The mess fee is 130 rupees per day. The scholarship scheme is based on the annual income of the family of the student. So the student can get financial assistance on the basis of the annual income of their family.
Campus Life
There are many clubs in IIT Ropar. We can join any of them. The annual fest of IIT Ropar is ZEITGEIST. This year it is held in the month of November. There is a library in IIT Ropar where we can find as many books as we need to study. There are many sports activities held in IIT Ropar such as Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton, Football, Athletics , handball, and many more The classrooms of IIT Ropar are very good and highly tech due to projectors, sounds, AC, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities of IIT Ropar are also the best. In the Room, we are given beds, tables, chairs, almirahs, fans, tube lights, lamps, etc. The Meal quality of the mess is good. We are fed by the food of different regions whose quality is excellent. The registration process for the hostel is smooth. In hardly 30 minutes, we had completed the registration process of the hostel.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is based on rank in JEE ADVANCE. I had found the application dates on the website of JOSSA. Application form and application fees on the IIT Ropar website. The admission process is very smooth in IIT Ropar. I didn't face any difficulty in the admission process.
