Remarks

It is a good college. Study and teachers are good. Campus placement is also good. Infrastructure is ok but now they are improving a lot. Teachers are very friendly and helpful. College placement is somewhere concern. But I hope with time they will improve all.

Entrance Preview

OJEE or JEE mains are the entrance examinations that you can take to get into this college. Admission procedure is very simple once you get a rank card from these exams. Directly pay fees and provide required documents and you are done.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is quite good. It has been taken from IIT Kharagpur. The course is available on the university site. It includes theory and practical both. The course is now bit changed from what we studied in past. It is one of the best course structure offered in India.

Internships Opportunities

Yes,It is also a part of the university curriculum.Students are doing intern ship program by many good companies like Infosys,TCS,simplex,NTPC,HAL,RSP......

Placement Experience

5

Placement is good for computer Science stream, some companies are infinite solutions, just dial. Placement cell is there to provide you pre-placement training for campus selection, mainly 80 to 85 % students get the placement, average salary is about 2 to 2.85 lacs annually.

College Events

5

Tech fest, Annual function, and cultural fest held at our college, college campus is surrounded by many shops. Each year a cultural fest is organised by the college, volunteered by the students for 2-3 days. Also Saraswati puja and Ganesh puja is celebrated in the college campus. Annual Sports is also made to make the students fit, both physically and mentally.

Fee Structure And Facilities

From my point of view, the college fee is average . Private colleges in other parts of the country is charge much more .College fees can also given through installation scheme.Scholarship can also provided to the poor background students.Fee structure is little bit expensive now. In our time we have to give ₹81000 per year as academic fee only and then hostel fees are extra somewhat upto ₹59000.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees can also given through installation scheme.Scholarship can also provided to the poor background students.SBI branch is there within college campus, loan facility is also available .

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio was dependent on the stream of course. On an average, it was 60:40. Most of the students are from 3 states, Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Extra co-curricular activities like robotics, gaming, painting, sports etc are encouraged by the college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The infrastructure of the college is good, good wi-fi campus, AC labs, 24 * 7 library facility, provide indoor and outdoor games facility, hostel is good but food quality is average, attractive classroom's, there is also facility for medical, all are good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is so much strong.several alumni meet is occurred throughout the years. Students themselves stay in touch with their batch mates, seniors, and juniors.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was different during our time. Now it has been changed and made easier for the students. Now more emphasis is given on objective type questions and on lab marks rather than the conventional paper. And also the difficulty level is reduced.

Admission

OJEE or JEE mains are the entrance examinations that you can take to get into this college. Admission procedure is very simple once you get a rank card from these exams. Directly pay fees and provide required documents and you are done.Orientation program is very good through which teachers are welcome all the new students .

Faculty

5

Yes teachers are very helpful to clear your doubts, teachers are well qualified and have a good experience of teaching. Teaching quality is nice. There is a good industry exposure and get to learn a lot from it. Student-faculty ratio is 1:50. course curriculum is useful to get a good marks in the university exam.

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
