Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because nowadays IT and AI are booming and just want to be a part of this advancement. 1:40 is the faculty-to-student ratio. All the faculty members are PhD scholars. Term exams were quite tough in my opinion.
Internships Opportunities
From the 4th semester students are eligible for 3 months of internship and from the 5th semester, students are eligible for 6 months of internship, and that also with a stipend. The company takes the student and sees his / her performance and based on that they can also give you a PPO.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement offers. The highest was 4800000 for a student of the ECE branch. The lowest was 500000. Approx 78 percent of students got placed in campus placement rest got placed in off-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are not that much because it is a national institute, the college tuition fee is around 41000 and the rest comes hostel and other expenses. I just got a fee waiver because my family income was between 1 to 5 lakhs.
Campus Life
Utkansh is the annual fest of Nit Jalandhar.it is conducted in March. Bharat dhwani is also a Jalandhar fest which is conducted in November. The library has a very vast collection of books. There are all types of sports and students are open to taking part in any of them.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are ok but the food sometimes it turns out to be good but some days it gets worse. The hostel menu changes every month and there is also a mess secretary who handles all the complaints regarding food and tries to make it better next time.
Admission
We need to clear the entrance exam named JEE MAIN. We can find application forms on the Jee Main official website or the website of nta that conducts Jee Exam 1000 There are application fees per attempt, and dates vary. I am from the OBC caste and benefitted by getting a good branch even though my rank was not worth it. I think they are doing great.
