College campus is very big . So I enjoyed it.

Classroom is small. Max 60 students sit in one class room

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course for good placement. Now Information Technology is 2nd top branch in engineering after CSE. Now coding is the future. Coading is important for app development, website development, etc. I learned about coding and other engineering subjects from this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not very affordable but the structure is good. Also, scholarship is available. And campusing is good. This college gave us 90% placement. And the average package is 6 lacks. Is also a good package.

Campus Life

This college organizes many fests like Agomoni Fest for Durgapuja, Fresher Welcome Fest for freshers, and Induction program for introduction to college and courses. This college also has a big library, all books are available in this library. So many clubs are available in college like music club, sports clubs, sports clubs, etc.

Firstly I cleared the wbjee entrance exam. My wbjee rank is 44091. Then I cleared the cut-off for Dr. BC Roy Engineering College Durgapur. Then I got admission through wbjee counseling. Then my verification is done. And finally, I got admission to this college.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
