I choose IIT Ropar for world-class engineering education and career opportunities. IITs offer top-tier engineering programs, renowned for their academic excellence and cutting-edge research. IITRopar has been working to improve its ratio, aiming for a ratio of about 1:10 or better. This would mean approximately one faculty member for every ten students. IIT Ropar often has postgraduate and doctoral degrees from reputable institutions in India and abroad, with a strong emphasis on research and academic achievement. However, the effectiveness of teaching methods can vary from one faculty member to another and can change over time. The timelines of term exams and the difficulty of passing exams in IIT Ropar can vary from one semester to another and among different courses.

The companies I mentioned in previously asked about the companies offered in placements mostly all came in internship and their stipend is around 1-2 lakh. The career development and placement cell of IIT Ropar is very helpful in providing good interns.

from the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In the CS branch, various companies visited our campus like Oracle, American Express, Google, Microsoft, etc. Last year highest package for college was 55 lakh and the average package was around 28 lakh. around 85 percent of students getting placed. I am interested in research after getting the degree.

The cost of study there includes tuition, hostel, and other fees(mess fees). The annual fee for undergraduate programs ranged from approximately rupees 2.25 to 2.5 lakhs for Indian students and considerably higher for international students. This fee structure also varies according to the category(general, obc, etc). IIT Ropar offers various scholarships, assistantships and opporunities for on campus jobs to students based on merit and financial need.

Zeitgeist and Advitya is our cultural and technical annual fest. Mostly Zeitgeist is conducted in November and Advitya is conducted in December. Mostly all the books related to our courses are available in the library. various amenities are available in the classroom of IIT Ropar like whiteboards, projectors, computers, microphones and speakers, air conditioning, WiFi, Lighting, etc. sports like football, cricket, hockey, table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, chees, etc spots are available in IIT Ropar. Various club activities and festivals also occurred. There are many clubs in IIT Ropar with around 25 clubs relegated to technical, cultural, etc. One NGO is also run by the students of OOT Ropar.

Eligiblity for the IIT is JEE mains and jee advance exam. According to the renk of jee mains around 2 lakh students qualified in jee mains and these qualified students are allowed in the jee advance exam. And then according to the rank of jee advance and category of students further admission process is proceeding. Application form is available on jee mains and advanced sites. We are able to fill out the form online. Yes, their reservation is present on the basis of category. I am in OBC and I get its benefits. While academic excellence is essential, the admission process could be more holistic by considering factors beyond just exam scores. this might include assessing applicants' extracurricular activities, leadership qualities, and personal statements, which could help identity well-rounded individuals.
