Remarks

The college faculty is good but they keep changing their teachers very frequently. which becomes problematic for the students

Entrance Preview

I did not take any entrance exam admission in my college is by percentage which u get in your 12th board ex am and cs and then a cut off lists come out according to whicht college and course get to know which college u'll get. and which course you can apply for and once all the things a re sorted u apply for that course in that particular college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have four subject mainly 2 core subjects financial accounting and business law. 1 generic elective paper which u r suppose to select and i chose economics and then u have aecc which is business communicationmajor syllabus if 12th but alot of new things have. been incorporated majorly in economics and acccounts law is intotal a very different subject.economics is very difficult and not at all easy to understand. business communication is the mst easy subject out of all the four subjects

Internships Opportunities

I am on my initial stage of college and hence i haven't done my internship yet. but i keep on doing an internship i think it will be a very good experience as u get to learn new things

Placement Experience

Haven't got to know about them yet. will get to know about them in my third year. till then i can sit back and relax. though i have heard there central placement no personal placement from college

My college is little less enthusisastic but the freshers which was hosted was fantastic i think one of the best amoung all the delhi university colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fess for my college is 9000. it is not feasible as they do not provide much of services according to which they r charging from us i hope that the college will soon take an initiative to curb this

As of now i haven't heard about any scholarships provided my college to its students if i'll come to know i'll definitely apply for it

Since my college provides girls quota makorly you get to see girls all around the college. workshops are regularly held by my college and so r orientations

My college does not have a hostel facility and nor does it have mess facility the canteen way too suffocating bu the food provided is hygenic

As of now i haven't been that friendly with any of my senior yet hence i haven't been able to extract much of information regarding the college and its placements and faculty

We have 4 -5 computer labs and they r genrally occupied but then we somehow manage and it is not problematic at all

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons.
