REVIEW OF NIT JALANDHAR

I am pursuing MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. acc to josaa cutoff I got this branch, but this branch is a top branch from the core point of view, as the parent company of Mercedes came here, in our class there are 121 students, and the teachers are highly educated and very experienced, the main thing male to female ratio:-4:1 in class of 121 there are 35 girls and rest are only boys

The internship session starts in the third year, there is 6 month internship, and all companies offer internships in their companies and pay enough stipend. we can also do off-campus internships during the time of internship, we are given 10CGPA. That is very good thing

In 4th year there is a placement session, and students are eligible for placements in the last semester. there ate a wide variety of companies that visit our college, as amazon cames which is a great opportunity for tech students and they offer a package of 44 lac And for core also there are wide varieties of companies. Almost all of the students get placed, around 5 per fets unplaced they went for higher studies etc. I plan to get PSU as I am from mechanical engineering

The whole fess structure is as below Tution fees is 62500 Mess including hostel fee is 25500 We can also apply an income certificate acc to our income, if our income is less than 1 lakh then tuition fees are zero

The campus life is good. there are a wide variety of fest in college Technical fest named TECHNITI cultural fest named UTKANSH our college library is very large, there is a large variety of books available, now a new Library has opened, which contains 200 computers for students who don't have their laptops, there are regular spots in college, sports event unter nit intra nit, inter hostel,intra hostel, those who have interest in sports, there is a great opportunity for them There are many clubs in our college, dance club, singing club, coding club etc.

The hostel is quite okay, but we have to make it better by making memories there, for ist year there are three hostels hostel1.2.5 for boys and for girls there is gh-1 Mess is better for this year and becomes lower is mega boys hostel(MBH)WGICH PROVIDES to second and third-year students If we want to rent a room or PG, there are several villages near our college so we can rent a PG there also.

Hey Armaan Kakkar, currently pursuing a btech in mechanical at the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, JALANDHAR, to get into this college there is an entrance exam named JEE-MAINS. we have to clear that exam to get any NIT, and colleges are allotted through counselling jammed JOSAA.then after we have to fill counselling and acc to our rank and cutoff of college, we are allowed that college, it is quite an impressive process and we are excited too because its the time when we start our college life, and there is also category system, means estimated cutoff for general is 90 percentile whereas cutoff for ews is 70 percentile, sc/st percentile respectively decreases so if anyone has category also it can be easier to get a good college and upper branch too.
