Likes

College environment is very good as per my opinion.
Hostel facilities are also very good wich were provided for 24×7.
Faculty members are also very supportive and kind.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike slightly is the strictness by the hostel administration.
Sometimes I dislike the mess menu as well as food(sometimes).
Other than these I don't dislike much things.

Course Curriculum Overview

I feel that the course is not too hard because the quality of teaching of the faculty is very good. and whenever I have doubts about any subject the facility is available at any time. And also the course is very well structured.

There are many internship opportunities provided by many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, etc. There are many roles given by the companies. It is a very good opportunity for students to get an idea of the working field.

Placement Experience

From the seventh semester, the students are eligible for the campus placements. Many companies visited for the placement purpose like Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Google, etc. My plans after getting the degree will be to prepare for the govt. exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college comes under the government category so the fees are very affordable also my parent's income is under 1lakh so my fees are very affordable for me as there were many loan facilities also available for the students.

Campus Life

Life on campus is very good. There are many techfests, art exhibitions and cultural fests like techniti and Utkansh. Books and journals are generally always available for the students. If not then the college administration provides soft copies.

Admission

I qualified for jee mains i.e Joint Entrance Exam for entering in NIT Jalandhar College. And minimum percentage in the CBSE 12th board examination is 75%. I come in the OBC category so I also got a seat in NIT Jalandhar College in the OBC reserved category. But there is not to much difference in reservation of OBC and General category.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
