Ayushman's Review On Rukmini Devi Institute Of Advanced Studies - [RDIAS], New Delhi

Director of the college is a creepy man. Being from the Army background he is into discipline but when it come to girls he shows his real color. Infrastructure consists of just 2 buildings and no ground.

I took the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University(GGSIPU) Common Entrance Examination (CET) for full time MBA course. I secured 261 rank in the CET and had around 22 colleges to choose from. Now as I did my graduation from Greater Noida, I was termed as a person from outside Delhi. Hence I couldn't get admission in the USMS(Main campus of IPU). Then one of my friend who was already studying in RDIAS reffered me to this college.

The course of all the subjects consists of 4 units comprising of different topics, which is followed in all the affiliated college of GGSIPU. One internal examination is conducted in each semester, along with that the students have to submit one research assignment and one home assignment for each subject for internal assessment.

The placement department of the college is very active and an internship fair is conducted every year in the month of April for students. Major brands were a part of it and stipend went upto 15,000 per month. Companies like IDBI, HFDC, Kotak, Bank of India, Edelweissis, etc visited the campus.

The placement season for the current batch has started and around 20 companies have already shown their interest in thiring the students. Companies like Jaro education-6.06 lakhs, Ziffi-5-5.5 lakhs, Onicra-2.4 Lakhs, Naukri.com-3-6 lakhs, Evalue serve-4.5 lakhs, XL dynamics Team lease Rate Gain-3.5-5.5 lakhs Vinove-2-3 lakhs, From the current batch around 15 students have already been placed. At this pace 80% of the students will be placed.

The college is pretty active in organising various small events every month for different courses and gives rewards to the winners as well which encourages more and more participation. Major events Inter college Table tennis tournament every year in the month of August. Razzmatazz(Annual Fest) Every year in the month of March Singer Alfaaz visited the campus in 2015, Sports meet-Every year in the month of October.Winter carnival-Every year in the month of January.

There is a state given scholarship programme for students whose family income is less than 2 lakhs and those who fall under minority as well. Apart from that the college does offer cash prizes to the university toppers. This year from mba batch 12 students were given cash prize of Rs5000 each.

Campus life is really fun as there are different clubs which conduct various activities for the students. Quizes, photography contests, student of the month, debates, extempore, poster making, ad mads, etc. Sports meet is conducted every year in the month of October and the annual fest is help every year in the month of March.

There is no hostel facility in the campus. As far as the canteen is concerned the food is pretty tasty, especially the rajma chawal. There are about 30 things on the menu which include pav bhaji, dahi bhalla, grilled sandwich, Thali, bread pakoda, patties

The seniors were very helpful, with the assignments, assistance, or if there were any other queries they helped us with almost everything. They even guided us with the placements and gave us the insights of the companies they were associated with and told us how to crack an interview.

Most of the teachers are well qualified, some of them are Ph.D and a few are pursuing their Phd.
