I am interested in the sector of IT and I like coding and knowing about the technology and exploring it. I opted for B.Tech in IT as it was in my interest and I scored enough to clear the cut-off for choosing it. The faculty in the department is great. They have great achievements on their own and the teaching methods are very enjoyable. The exams are divided into two parts now the mid-semester and end-semester exams in a semester. The exams were easy to pass as we got enough time to prepare for the exam and keep going with the syllabus.

The hostel facilities are great with separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are separate for first years and others. You can avail of a two-seater or single-seater room in 4th year. The mess food is good and the menu can be changed according to the valuable suggestions. The hostels can be availed easily and are affordable.

I got a B.Tech in IT after scoring 97.2 percentile in JEE. The application process was through JoSAA and was a little tricky at some points when you had to fill in the choices but everything fell into place. You can get a nice branch if you are an OBC, SC, or ST and also get your tuition fee lowered if your annual income is less than 1 to 5 lakhs or zero tuition fee if it's lower than 1 lakhs.
