Course Curriculum Overview
Industrial production has subjects which help you to know about the IT sector as well as get the knowledge of non-IT sector industries. By the end, you will have a good skill set to do startups or get employed. The number of faculties is sufficient for conducting classes of all the branches without any problem and even if the number of faculties is less it is never felt as the timetable is so well designed. The faculties are all Ph.D. holders and many are alumni of nits and iits. They all are knowledgeable and one may not be able to adjust with the teaching style of 1-2 professors of their branch. Exams are conducted timely and the syllabus is also a lot, that is if one keeps note of things taught in class and studies regularly then easily he/she can score well.
Internships Opportunities
Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, tcs. And also drdo offers internships in roles of it sector and chemical, devices. And a good sum is paid based on your skill set. Projects related to data analysis and software development,app development,web development are there and outcomes are developed software for solving problems.
Placement Experience
By the end of the 6th semester, the companies start visiting and one can sit for placements. Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and TCS visit the college and many startups visit with good offers. 85%students get placed and the rest also by the end of the 4th year to are placed in any company. Highest package 50 lakhs, The average package is 12 lakhs, My plan is with the skillset of mine to get employed and start an IT services company and eventually work time in the business.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 150000(tuition) + 50000(mess). Per year and no other charges for dispensary or library will be there. Saini scholarship, Mahajan scholarship. For reservations category. Sc/St no tuition fees, only mess fees. Income(1-5lakhs) 1/3 tuition fees and mess. Income less than 1 lakh. Only mess fees.
Campus Life
The Utkansh Fest, Bharat Dhwani, and Punjab Diwas are some of the major fests organised, but all the festivals and important events are organised properly. The situation is that every month you will have something to enjoy. The library has all the important books to get prepared well and a new library is to be inaugurated soon which is more digitized and has more number of books. The classrooms are also air-conditioned and big enough to accommodate around a hundred students and even more in some classrooms and there is a smart board in all the classes. All the sports are present and inductions are done every year for both sports and other clubs. college sports events are also organized and also the inter nit competition in sports and other activities is also organized. Prayas Club is the club that teaches needy children and there is an NSS club for social services.
Admission
For getting admission in nits and iits. You have to qualify 12th with 75% and have a good percentile in jee mains examination for nit and jee advance for iit. The jee application is released by NTA which can be checked on its official website. For registration of upcoming jee exam of 2024 will start in the month of December and the exam will be in mid-January for the first session and session 2 will be in the month of April. Reservation is there for sc,st,obc ,ews For the admission process, the counselling should more simplified.
