Course Curriculum Overview

I have a keen interest in engineering from my childhood. So, I opted for industrial and production in NIT Jalandhar, The faculty-to-student ratio is 17:91 per batch. Most of the faculty has MTech and Ph.D. degrees from NIT and IIT. There are two types of exams per semester these are mid-semester and end-semester.

Internships Opportunities

internship opportunites are very good in my college . companies often came in our college to hire students for summer intern and ample amount of students get selected in these company's selection procedure .

Placement Experience

Placement is good. From 4th year students are eligible for placements but there must be an internship done in the past to get eligible.in IPE there was 100% placement in the previous year. My plan is to get placed in a well-decorated software company.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike policy as such and the cost of study is relatively less than in other colleges. There are many scholarships that the college has, many organizations come to the college for scholarships, and even our college provides scholarships to students.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good. The annual fest of our college is Utkash which is the cultural official annual fest and Techniti is a technical annual fest. Books are available. AC is good in our lecture theatres. Many clubs like humor clubs, si Crew are run by students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are good. There is CCTV surveillance in each dormitory and there are clean bathrooms and toilets. Food is good. Variety in the menu. I personally love kadi pakoda with chawal and allo ki sabji.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission process was good. First, we fill out the form of jee main. criteria to fill this form is 12th pass as well as 12th appearance. The selection process was through cut-off. The application forms are on the official site of Jee Main and the application fee is something around 750 INR and dates are announced on the Jee Main official website. There is a reservation for SC, and ST students, and also for EWS students.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

From four semester we start getting internships from various companies depending on student skills ,but regularly in 6th/7th sem we can ppo's pre-placement offer In cs department students are enjoying an average annual package of 17LAKH while in EC department, students are enjoying an average annual package of 13.5LAKH IN CS DEPARTMENT the placement percentage is nearly 91% while in ECE department placement percentage is nearly 97%

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
