Odisha JEE - rank: 15223. I chose Computer Science and Engineering because I had an interest in computers and technology.

Course curriculum is excellent, however, i am sad to say, there were very less faculties with good knowledge on the various subjects. Most of them used to simply read out prepared notes in the class.Also there was hardly anyone who used to support innovation and who used to accept faults in the lecture.

It was a very bad situation during our final year. Only 1 company came for internship - cavissonStipend provided was 8000 per month.

Again, placement and job opportunities in our time was worst. Very less companies came for recruitment. Viz, HCL, TCS, Hexaware, Cavisson etc. Packages offered: TCS - 3.3 Lac per annum, HCL - 2.8 Lac per anum, Hxaware - 3.5 lac per annum, Cavisson - 3 Lac per annum.

There were not much of festivals in our college.tech fests Sampark 600 participants cultural - AVYAKT - biggest fest - 1000+ participants management/tech fest - Science and Tech Expo - 2000+ participants.

Fees - 38000 per annum.

There was one scholarship that was running but i never opted for it.It was for scheduled caste students with less household income.

Gender ratio - 3:1 appx the college surrounding was very strict so we used to have parties outside college, at some restaurant. for extra curriculars there were cricket, football, badminton competitions organized every 6 months.Also in our biggest festival - Science and Tech expo, competitions on innovations, ideas, robotics etc were used to carried out.We also were allowed to our very own food stall and we did open one.

There was no Alumini event conducted. However, our seniors were very friendly and helpful.
