Self experienced review of NSUT

As much as I have experienced till now we get PhD. Students as our teachers in our first semester and rarely are highly qualified teachers in starting semesters but as we go on in further semesters we find highly qualified professors who teach amazingly. The academics here are very strict and they give no relief in anything regarding academics and attendance. I got a good rank so luckily I got computer science here. The gender ratio in college is average like 1:3. The exams are a headache here we gave exams, class tests, mid-sem, and end-sem in frequency times. And we also struggle a lot to score good marks as teachers evaluate very strictly.

I'm still a second-year student so I don't have exact about placement. Usually, 80% of students get placed. The highest package offered was 1.25 cr international for the computer science branch and the domestic highest is 65 LPA.

Fees in college increased by 10% every year I paid 2,19,000 in the first and it's 2,29,000 in the second year and the same applies to everyone. In total, you can expect 12 lakhs for BTech. The scholarship is very difficult as being from SC I did not receive any scholarship in my 1st year.

We have moksha as our annual fest which mostly falls in April and our intra-college fest is Resonance which happens in November. The library is quickly good but needs a lot of improvement and availability of books. The classrooms for the first year are usually held in APJ, which are high-tech classrooms with all amenities and second-year classes are held in respective departments. The sports facility in college is good and we have ground for almost every important game. I'm not into sports, so don't have that much knowledge about sports on campus. College Many societies for students and college have an app developed by Devcomm society for every notice and attendance regarding college.

Not many facilities just a fan, table chair and an inbuilt almira in the hostel room. The food quality of the mess is seriously bad. In starting days is usually good but gets worse with time. Fees for hostel and mess can be paid by the college website and rooms are allocated by the distance from home to the college. The farther the home, the more chances of getting a hostel room. There are many PGs and hostels nearby the college area.

You need to compete in JEE Mains to get admission into NSIT Delhi. After that, you are required to apply for counselling in JAC Delhi.nic.in for admission. I am considering that you are from Outside Delhi SC category, so you need to have rank at least 80k for getting a decent branch like ECE, ME, etc. For getting COE or IT you need to have an AIR of less than 45k. Also, NSIT has 85% of seats reserved for Delhi students and if you are from the general category and outside Delhi make sure you secure a very good rank in jee mains to get a good branch in NSIT. There is a reservation for other categories as well but seats for outside people are 15% only.
