Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I had an interest in this field and also I am getting a master's degree with just one extra year than B. Tech courses. The faculty-student ratio is very good in our college as on average every class has around 60 students. Faculties here possess a doctorate and most of the faculties are quite experienced. Term-end exams happen here regularly after each semester and the difficulty of the paper depends on students' mindset, for me it's ok.
Internships Opportunities
I am in my second year so, I don't have much knowledge of projects and their outcomes as I haven't done any of these till now. But I do get the input from the seniors that you have to make some kind of project solving real-world problems which provides an efficient solution. Here are a lot of internship opportunities provided by the college and students can apply for any of the campus internships and get the NOC from the college to do that. The summer internship is offered in college and also students get placement training. Companies like Accenture, Amazon, Wipro, JP Morgan etc come with internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are good. Students are eligible fir campus placements from 4th year or after completion of the third year. Many companies visit here with Accenture, apple, cisco, Goldman Sachs, Amazon etc as some famous company along with many more famous mnc's. I don't have a clear idea about no.of offers from each company. The highest package is 59 LPA and the average is 8 LPA. Almost 90% of the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't encountered any fee hikes till now. There are scholarship opportunities in this college according to your Viteee rank. Here Companies visit on a regular basis for final year students and the placement ratio is very good as per my knowledge. Stipend and regular packages vary from company to company. But the average package is around 8 LPA
Campus Life
Many festivals happen here, and advitya is our famous annual fest it mostly happens in January or February. It consists of many events. There is a big library in which a lot of books are available. Classrooms are very good. Regular some kind of sports events are conducted with Aawahan being the biggest sports event which includes every type of available sport on the college campus. There are many technical and non-technical clubs in our college.
Hostel Facilities
I live in hostel and according to me hostel life is very good. Quality of food is good and there is different menu for each day which gets repeated on weekly basis. Some changes happens on menu on monthly basis. Registration process for hostel is in online mode which will be informed by college through mail. But there are area where hostel fees can be reduced as it's quite high specially mess fees.
Admission
You have to apply from Vit website for this course. And college will shortlist the candidates based on their 10th and 12th marks for the integrated courses. Application date - tentatively after March Application fees - There are three categories, after the shortlisting process, you will receive a provisional admission letter along with fee details.
