- Hostel rooms, only certain rooms were open for specific year students and it's very conjusted
- Few subjects were removed so those subject faculty were allotted to other subjects and they don't have proper knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because Computer Science and Engineering is the most sought-after course and it's in most demand for getting jobs. Each faculty teaches around 4-6 sections and each section has around 60-70 students. Faculty are PhD holders and research graduates, highly qualified. Teaching is good. Term exams are held once every five months, they are quite difficult but can easily be attempted if we know concepts well.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like Accenture, HDFC, Amazon, TCS, and other big companies offer roles according to students' eligibility and resumes. Internships and then placements according to those are given to the students.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for internships and campus placements from the 4th or 5th semester of college. Over 100 companies visit and we have a 100% placement record until now. The highest package was 70lpa and the average is 7lpa. I wanna get a job in placement too.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are 3,15,000 for any engineering course per annum. Hostel fees range from 1,20,000 to 2,00,000 with additional mess and laundry fees. Scholarships are given by merit taking the EAMCET, SRMJEE, or SRMAPCET scores into consideration. I got a scholarship of 75% due to my SRMJEE score.
Campus Life
We have co-curricular activities clubs, including music, dance, theatre arts, literature, communication, creative arts, yoga and wellness, mental health clubs, sports clubs etc and community service clubs, where we serve the community, every Wednesday. We have a tech fest cultural fest named Infinitus in around Feb to Apr, an ethnic day named Paridhaan from Jan to Mar, a business fest named Ameya, a movie fest and many other fests. There are ample books in our library. It's a huge library. Classrooms have smart teaching appliances and ACs.
Admission
Eligibility is 12th pass with 60% in MPC courses. Application form, application fee, application dates, and other details are available online. One can enter this university through the SRMJEE exam, SRMAPCET exam, or AP EAMCET exam.
