- Campus is very beautiful specially at night just like wow.
- Senior are very helpful and friendly no ragging hist like brothers they will help you at every moment if you ask them.
- APJ Complex where first year classes takes place having best classrooms with all the facilities like in IITs or IIMs .
Dislikes
- Strict Attendance policy which means you have to compulsory 75% attendance in each subject to sit into the examination.
- Recruitment process of the societies, you can join a society only when you are very pro at it already. So that's the bad thing
- College Cantin have very bad items to eat not good as the standard of a Tier 1 college . Amul store is better than that of Cantin.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I opted for Instrumentation and Control Engineering despite the fact I am getting Electrical Engineering there because Instrumentation and Control Engineering is one of the oldest engineering branches in Netaji Subhas University of Technology with a very good alumni network. Faculty are good if you want to study. Exams are too frequent and the worst is the attendance issue. Exams are too hectic if you are a day scholar.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are not as good as placements almost only 40% of students are able to grab on-campus internships so most of the students go for off-campus internships. Companies that comes to campus provide a very good stipend for internship ranging from 25k to 2 Lakhs which is a very good amount and also offer pre-placement offers ( PPO) to deserving candidates.
Placement Experience
The college has an on-campus placement with the highest package of 1.86 Cr and the lowest package of 6 LPA. For Instrumentation and Control Engineering. Highest package: 52 LPA. Average Package: 14 LPA. This is a very good return on investment as the fee is 10 Lakhs for the whole 4-year BTech program. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Adobe, Amazon, etc visit the campus every year and recruit students with almost 80% placements records. So, We can say that placements are very good till now.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of the Netaji Subhas University of Technology are very high if you are from a middle-class family I paid 1,19,000 in 2023 with a hike of 10,000 every year till my graduation in 2027 so you can say 10 Lac from 4 years of btech although the return of investment is very good. There are many scholarships that are being provided but I would suggest not coming here just because of the support of scholarships because they often come very late.
Campus Life
The annual fest is like wow! Moksha the annual cultural fest of Netaji Subhas University of Technology is one of the best fest in North India. There is another fest Resonanz which wonderful big stars come to perform like anuv Jain, Tushar Joshi, Amit Dwivedi, and many more. The library is the sweetest place to study, just like heaven. I love it. You will find everything you want.
Admission
After having the 96.12 percentile in JEE Mains 2023, I applied for both the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (Josaa) and the Joint Allocation Committee ( JAC Delhi ). I got a seat here at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, one of the best Engineering (Tier 1 ) colleges in India. The admission process was very smooth and chill. One of the problems was the high fees of 1,19,000 which is very high. Overall it was a good experience.
