- The mess food and canteen food is mostly fine, but not at a good level.
- Some subjects were removed and those subject faculty were allotted to other core subjects with no basic knowledge.
- Some major subject courses are not provided in college and online courses are made to be taken.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in graphic design. There are about 60-70 members in each class. The faculty take up to 6 classes and depending on their research work, some faculty take only one or two classes. All the faculty have done their PhDs from reputed institutes like IITs and IIMs. Most of them have prior work experience in international universities. The term exams are held once every five months. They weren't extremely difficult to pass, they weren't too easy either. They were up to a necessary level, enough to test our knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
We have research opportunities within the college where we can collaborate with our professors. We also have a lot of start-ups made by our seniors and other faculty. The start-ups are funded by pitching every month. Internships are available.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. many reputed companies like IBM, Infosys, Panasonic, Amazon, Accenture, Oracle, etc have visited and offered placements. We have a 100% placement percentage. The highest package is 50 lpa and the average is 7 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to pay a base tuition fee of 3,15,000 for any engineering course and 1,50,000 for other courses. There are scholarships available and fully funded seats available for eligible students.
Campus Life
There are a few clubs that are active but there are also inactive clubs. Arts clubs like performing arts which include music, dance, theatre and movie clubs, creative arts, anime, yoga, and other clubs are active. All the classrooms are completely air-conditioned and properly ventilated. We have charging ports in classrooms.
Hostel Facilities
The registration process for a hostel is very simple, you just apply in your student portal. The menu is changed once every couple of months and students are asked for reviews on food. The food quality is mostly fine. We have AC, a fan, a light, a study table, a chair, a bed, and a wardrobe. We have an attached bathroom.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for the course I chose is to have min 60% in physics math and chemistry in your respective 12th board. All the information necessary for the admission process is provided on the official college website. If not, the helpdesk is available for more inquiries.
