Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it is the most demanding course in the near future. I love computers and their algorithms so I choose this course. Our teachers are teaching us very friendly and very conscious. The course curriculum is as per MAKAUT. Exams are held semester-wise.

Many Reputed Companies like - Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, etc. provide internships to our students also many reputed companies like - TCS, Mahindra, Google provides stipend to us. And also give the certificate and mar points.

Placement Experience

Our college gives placement opportunities after completing the 3rd year. Many reputed companies like - TCS, Mahindra & Sons, Wipro, Infosys etc. Visited our college and provided huge amount placement opportunities to our students.

Fees and Financial Aid

For a BTech degree, many colleges charge a huge amount of money but our college fee structure is average, it's like 45k per semester and 4.2lakhs in a total of 4 years. Also, our college allows us to apply for many types of scholarships like - SVMCM, Oasis, National Merit Cum Scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

Our college organizes many fests every year. In the past few days, our college organized a fest about agomoni function of Durga puja. Also, our college will organize a tech fest in January month. We have a huge library in our college, and many types of books are available there. Also, our college organizes many sports and curricular activities in our college.

Admission

The Admission process is very simple in our college. All of the admission details are provided by our college on our college website. In my course, BTech in CSE students need at least 15,000 ranks in the Wbjee Exam. And a minimum of 80 %ile in Jee Mains.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3. In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
