I chose chemistry honors because I like the subject from class 11 and also there are so many job scopes as my teachers say to me, in our department the is not a lot of number of students. The teachers are also good at behavior. It is not so difficult to pass but having a good percentage is hard.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay per semester around 4000 rupees which varies every year, and the examination fee is also different, around 850 per semester fee, I am getting a SWAMI VIVEKANANDA SCHOLARSHIP, and other no financial assistance I got.

Campus Life

Our college had every year an annual fest for the new students in 1st year. Also, have a library so there is not so much trouble in getting books. Intercollege sports activities also occur. No social clubs were present.

Admission

1st I have to apply for the chemistry honors course with the class 12 number. Then after a few days counseling list was published. Then I paid the course fee and did document verification, then I was successfully admitted to the Coochbehar College in Bsc chemistry Honours.

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.
