Course Curriculum Overview

I like electronics so I choose this course. Electronics and communication course is the most demanding course in future years. The faculty members of our college are really very good they always help us. Every year there are 2-semester exams conducted by our college.

Many reputed companies like - TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visited our college and gave us placement opportunities. Also, Google, and Microsoft, campaigning gave us many types of projects and they also gave us stipends.

After completing the 7th semester students get their placement opportunities at our college. Many reputed companies like - TCS, Microsoft, Google, Infosys etc visited our college and offered placement opportunities to us.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is average in our college it's about 47 thousand per semister and 4.11 lakhs in a total of 4 years. Also, our college allows us to apply for many scholarships like SVMCM, OASIS, and NATIONAL MERIT CUM SCHOLARSHIP.

Campus Life

Many types of fests like annual fest, freshers fest, and many tech fests like Google tech fest, Microsoft tech fest etc organised by our college. Also, our college organises many sports and curricular activities on our college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
