College facilities are very good.Like library.
College facilities are very helpful. They are also providing extra classes.
College placement is overall good, approx 70% students were placed in last year.

Dislikes

College canteen area is very little. Every student aren't setting in one time.
Electrical engineering branch hasn't separate building.

Electrical engineering branch is mother trade of engineering. If I study mother trade then I will apply government service. Some faculty members are very educated and their teaching process is very well. 6months gap

Third year regular student approxly paid 89000 per year. Many students are applying scholarship. Like -NSP SCHOLARSHIP ,SVMCH SCHOLARSHIP . Campus jobs placement approx 70%. Last year highest package 4LPA.

Mainly 3 type fest organish in the college. Tech fest conducted last year June. Many types books are available in the library. Also refference books are available in the library. Many types sports are organised by the college. Like- football, cricket, basketball, Karate

I was attempting WBJEE Exam. Then qualify the exam. And councilling through I chose the DR B.C. ROY ENGINEERING COLLEGE. And choose electrical engineering branch. I found application form, application fees and application dates from online.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
