Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members of this college are very good. They help their students as much as possible. If you do not understand, they explain again and again. They are able to understand reading in any language. The course curriculum is as per MAKAUT.

Internships Opportunities

The placement of CSE, ECE, and IT branches in this college is very good. About 90% of students are placed in this branch. Many companies come here, some of them are TCS, CCS, VIVO, BYJU'S, Flipkart, Wipro, etc.

The placement here is very good. From the 6th semester, all the students can sit for placement. The average package here is 5-6 LPA. 90% of ECE and CSE students of this college get placement. However, the placement of the core branches of this college is average.

BCREC campus is very big. The whole college is a green campus. There are two big playgrounds, one of this football playground and one of this Cricket ground. The surroundings of this college are always clean and sterile. The library is good, and all the books are available.

For admission to this college, you have to give WEST BENGAL JOINT or JEE MAIN. A rank below 30K in WBJEE in this college is needed to get admission. The fee for this college is 4.04L. The fees of this college are much less than other colleges.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3. In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
