Course Curriculum Overview
The reason I chose this course is I have always dreamed to be a software developer in a top MNC , to make a lot of money and to take care of my parents. The student to faculty ratio in my college will be about 25:1 that's what the management is saying. Most of the faculty working In my college are PHD holders. And thier teaching is very helpful. Generally there would be a minimum time gap of 1month between term examinations.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students will be eligible for campus placements. Some of the MNC's visited last year are microsofr, TCS, cognizant, infosis and many more. As far as I know there wre about a 1000 offers. The highest package this campus ever got is 63lpa and average package will be about 6-7lpa. Around 80 percent of students were placed. Iam thinking of choosing higher studies but that will depend on how much package I will get.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is fine considering it is a private college and it's brand name. There aren't any fee strikes but recently they have hiked our hostel fee a little bit. Some of the students in our are through eapcet and comparatively they pay less fees. I haven't went to placed because placements will be on 3rd year. So i can't talk about that.
Campus Life
The annual fest conducted in our college is vitopia. And there are so many tech fests are conducted in our college with different names. There are enough number of books and journals in our college. All the classrooms contains an lcd and speakers in every corner so that all the people in the class could hear. There is an indoor stadium and large ground. Which are to conduct any sports events. There are so many clubs like csi, next gen. I my a member of a club known as wios.
Hostel Facilities
As I said before there is a lcd and speakers all over room so all the students in the class could listen. Meal quality is good and nutritious. Registration process for hostel is purely based on your cgpa and can take your friends as well. And it's a little bit expensive compared to hostels that are outside the campus. Iam a hostler with in the campus and there are no rooms or PG's in a 5-6 km radius.
Admission
Eligibility of the course is that student should have a minimum aggregate of 65 percentage in his 12th examination. The application form is available on google, they have their own website. There you can apply for the common entrance test conducted be VIT university for admission in the college. There are no reservations and the fees will be payed immediately after the counselling process. There is nothing I can Suggest the administration for improvement in admission process but they should consider giving more deadlines for fee payment.
