Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am a commerce student and I have an interest in the same. This college has the largest number of students and faculty members are also supportive, their teaching methods are not the best but yeah good to moderate. Whereas, I haven't taken any exam so I don't have much idea about the timings.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that provide internships to students. These include Outlook Group, Snapdeal, Stanza Living, ABP Network, IFORTIS, and many more providing internships in many profiles largely in Graphics and Social Media Marketing, Content Writing, Business Development and Sales, and so on. The date as a fresher, I haven't done any internship yet so I don't really have an idea about the projects and tasks that must be running there.
Placement Experience
Campus Placements mainly happen in the Second and third year of the college, however placement cell does provide internship opportunities to all the students whether they are from any year. So many companies visit our college to offer placements including KPMG, EY, HDFC, TCS, and many more. Highest package this year was 36LPA where as average package was 5.7LPA in profiles mostly(25%) in "Business Development and Sales" followed by "Finance and Investment Banking", "Operations" and so on. This year 205+ students have been placed facing a significant increase of 74.4% increase in the number of students placed. My plans after the degree is to complete my post graduation in MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think a much higher college has really poor infrastructure and they should work on improving that, on the other hand, I don't have any idea about any scholarships whereas the placement cell is well-active and provides many internship opportunities however, I haven't done any yet I'll consider doing it next year.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. However, they have their fest named Priyadarshani which is to be held in the next session starting in around April and May. However, there are so many societies that organize many fest and events on a regular basis. The library in our college is well maintained and has all the necessary amenities that should be in a college library. Also, We have the largest NCC Ground among all DU colleges and also have a Basketball court, Football Ground, and other common grounds for other sports activities as well. Societies in our college are the thing that the college is most worth going to. Societies are very active and definitely provide great exposure to all the students.
Admission
I've taken the entrance exam CUET, and eligibility criteria vary depending upon the course opted for, the admission process is simple, one can apply from the CUET official website and the information is present on the CUET Official website. I also availed the General EWS reservation. For that, I had to upload a self-attested copy of my EWS Certificate. I think they should shorten the time they take to conduct the exam as it took about 1-2 months and that's why my normalized score does vary from my raw score.
