Don't depend more on college

My elder brother was in this college in the CSE department, he suggested me this college and he said that the faculty was experienced and so friendly. Now I am in this college and I saw that he was right. This college is under MAKAUT so there are two parts of semester exam, first is final semester exam that is 70 marks by the University and the second is 25 marks by the college and 5 marks in attendance. There are 4 parts to get 25 marks : 1. CA1(MAKE PRESENTATION) 2.CA2(MAKE REPORT) 3.CA3(WRITTEN) 4.CA4(ONLINE MCQ BY UNIVERSITY) The best one of the four is selected for 25 marks. LAB Exam is also out of 100 and there are two parts, the first is 60 (final semester) and the second is 40 (by College) To get 40 marks you have to give two exams: 1.PCA1 2.PCA2 There is attendance mandatory in PCA1 and PCA2 else you failed.

There are 100% internship opportunities for all the students of our college. After the 5th semester, students will become interns. There are internship opportunities from Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro and more. Most of the companies don't give any stipend and some companies give stipend.

There are good placement opportunities. The average package is 3.6 lakh and the highest package is 14 lakh. this year a student got an 18lpa in off campus from the IT department. Approximately 85 Percent of students get placement. Companies are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Amazon and more. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements.

Yes, there is a government scholarship (Swami Vivekananda) for West Bengal residents and you apply for a Loan at your own risk. The total cost for B.Tech is approx 4 lakhs and there are no more increased fees yearly. There are good opportunities for internships and placement.

There is an annual fest(Zeal) and tech fest(Horizon) conducted by the college. You can get any books from the library. The infrastructure is very good There is music, dance, sports club. Actually, there is good for other activities.

Admission is based on the entrance examination with WBJEE or JEE Mains. But sometimes for Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil courses, you can directly get admission. I ranked(10000) WBJEE and I got admission to CSE by counselling.
