Course Curriculum Overview
This course provides specialization in multiple disciplines, which helps in higher education. The faculty of DU is very good with a student ratio of approx 1:40. The exams are of two types the semester exams and internal exams. The semester exams are held twice a year and internal exams depend on faculty.
Placement Experience
3rd year students are eligible for placement. Top companies are BCG, McKinsey, Bank of America, Deloitte, etc. with 36.5 LPA highest package. 6.5 LPA is the median CTC package. My plan is to pursue an MBA after getting a degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for this course is 13500 per year which is quite affordable. The university also provides scholarships for economically weaker students. There is a placement cell that provides campus jobs.
Campus Life
Life on campus is amazing. We regularly experience fests of all kinds and seminars of famous personalities. There are a huge number of societies for different co-curricular activities. Like debating society, dance society, music society, sports societies, eco clubs, and many more. These societies are run by students and funded by sponsors.
Admission
The eligibility for this course is intermediate with the science stream. Then we have to clear the CUET UG entrance exam and get a good score. Its application fees range between RS 500-1000. Then we register for different universities with separate application fees. It is held every year in the months of April and May. It also has reservation benefits for marginal sections of society. We require a reservation certificate to get reservation benefits. After the result, you get a score, and universities release their cut-offs for different courses. Then we get seats in universities and we submit the admission fees to confirm our admission.
