Course Curriculum Overview
I have joined this course out of interest and its scope in the upcoming future. The faculty: student ratio is 1:30. The faculty are at least Masters completed and a part of them are Ph.D. qualified. The teaching capacity is pretty good and one can pass examinations easily if the preparation is proper and regular.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty decent and almost all percent of people get at least one offer. Companies like Amazon, Nutanix, and Adobe came to college. The average package is around 5 lpa and 6 lpa for CSE. My plan after this 4 years is to get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is about 5.9 lakh per annum of college fees and the hostel fee is around 1.15 lakh per annum. And fee hike is around 15k per annum for the new batches. There is no scholarship given by the college. But, if joined through KCET one can get a low fee but it's only for Karnataka students.
Campus Life
Anadama is the annual fest organized around March-April every year. And it would be around 3 days. There are plenty of books available and journals in the library for academic-related purposes. The sports facilities are pretty decent. And clubs are pretty good too.
Admission
The eligibility to join this course is to have passed class 10+2 from any recognized board. And must have had Physics, Maths, and chemistry in their main subjects. Application and admission process can be found on the official website nmit.ac.in. There are no reservation categories while joining through management quota. However, through KCET there will be reservations as per the Karnataka govt guidelines.
