Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because this course is newly launched and this course has a special bond with TCS. This course is specially designed and a better version of the CSE department. The term exams are held after 6 months and It is easy to pass the exam if anyone studies properly, the questions always come under the syllabus. The faculty and teaching method are also very good but need more improvement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee structure is around 4 lakh 20 thousand and additional exam fees, per sem it is around 50 thousand. The opportunity for scholarships is specified for West Bengal students, not for other states. Every year so many companies come and take a bundle of students for campus just as TCS, sales force, congnigent, etc. But no product-based companies are coming, this is a very big issue.
Campus Life
In our college, the annual fest is very popular over West Bengal and it is conducted every year in April or May. Tech Fest is conducted every year in September. There are different varieties of books available in our library. All co-curricular activities are held on our campus like sports, dance, fashion shows etc.
Admission
My admission process was a nice experience. I took the admission through clear the entrance exam i.e jee mains where I got 80%ile and I got CSBS department in this college. All the facilities are available in this college regarding for admission process or anything else. During admission, I went to the Asansol Engineering College and the application form, fees, and date information are available in the lobby and admission chamber. I didn't face any trouble during admission. Any improvement regarding this process, is a timing issue. Please work on the timing problem because the admission process took the whole day so improve on timing speed.
