I dont like the cufew timming for girls which is 7 pm
Average package is disappointing like Amazon and Microsoft has not visited here

There is a good ratio of faculty and students All the teachers are qualified and professional in their field some are PhD holders and most of them are post graduates their teaching method is good there are 2 minors and 1 major in one semester and not so difficult to pass the exams

Campus life is average the name of the cultural fest of this college is Madhuram which is held in the month of October and the tech fest is held in April Maybe there is a central library which has a lot of courses related to books journals thesis research related around more than 1 lakh books infrastructure of this college is amazing well-maintained classrooms library hostels and all sports ground which is always well maintained there are many clubs such as robotics, coding, photography etc there is NCC also

If reservations are availed then I got an upper branch like the computer science branch but due to lack of reservations. I did not get computer science engineering yes I want improvement in the admissions process for availing reservation benefits

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
