All about GHRCE

I choose this course because I have decided earlier to become a Engineer but not have idea of the stream/ branch. But I Know that whichever branch is allotted to me, I will be doing my best in that. In Civil branch there is lack of girls as compared to boys, the faculty are provided for each subject but some new subjects like Universal human values and Energy conservation are taught very lightly. They should be taught in more better way. Some faculties are PHD and Some M.tech from good Universities. The teaching method is easy of some faculties but students does not understand the topics taught by some faculties.

Internship opportunities is provided by the department, but we are being told to do it away from our home town, it is not affordable for some students. We have to do a minor project in 7th semester and a 6months internship in the 8th semester.

Yes the college provide placements but for civil department there are very less companies that come to our campus so the placement is also less. The average package offered by companies is around 4 lakhs-4.5 lakhs and highest package is of 6-7 lakhs.

The fees is as follows:- They provide scheme to pay the fees : 200000/- per year for all branch students. The Scholarship is provided depending on the Caste: Open category get no scholarship, OBC students has to pay :- 96000/-, Sc/St students fees:- 2700/- This should not be there all students much pay same amount of money this system should be changed now. Name of scholarship:- post matric scholarship for OBC students.

The campus life is good, the environment is clean, the only thing is that the campus is to short, no playground was there for sports we have to go in another campus. The books are available at the library we can issue them for some time. The classroom has good plywood benches but in summer days our department do not arrange for any of cooling facilities. The college organises Antaragini event each year, different events take place during that each department has a separate committee for that, it is an interdepartmental event.

The eligibility criteria is based on Percentage of MHT-CET or JEE varying on the course. The cut off criteria is different for admission of different cources. The application form is available at the campus and there is facility of College portal also. If the student fails to Submit the caste validity he/she gets admission in open category. The SC/ ST caste students gets most benefit of reservation as compared to other castes. "The reservation fees should be equal for all reserved castes".
