Below average college

I got admitted to GHRCE NAGPUR after clearing the entrance exam (MHT-CET) with 89 percentile in 2020. I got into this college in the CAP round of mhtcet. In the OBC category you've to pay approx 97000 in the first year after that from the 2nd to 4th year fees will be approximately 88000. You must apply for a scholarship in the mahadbt portal to take benefits of reservation categories. If you are not eligible or failed to apply for a scholarship then you have to pay the full fees which is approx 1.5 lakhs. The admission process is very simple you only have to bring all the documents and the college will guide you throughout the admission process.

In today's time, we've tons of online resources for studies so need to worry about that. We just need to focus and be consistent in our studies. You have to do everything yourself. No faculty will teach you the latest technologies. It is only up to you how you manage to gather the knowledge throughout the engineering journey.

Till now only 4 to 5 internship opportunities college provides. They just sent the Google form for applying for the internship that's it. Afterwards, we've to take care of the recruitment process. As I've observed most of the students search the internship opportunities on their own and continue their internship journey without a stipend.

I'm in the VII semester currently. Very few students got placed. 20 to 30 companies come in our CSE department. Due to the recession, companies reduced the number of seats that's why we facing huge problems during placements. Most of the companies came and went. Some companies hire a few students but most of the companies go without hiring any students. Less than 10% of students got placed. The majority of companies that came in college provide technical roles like sales business development etc.

For open-category students, fees are approximately 1.5 lakhs. OBC student fees are approximately 97 thousand in the first year and approximately 89 thousand in 2nd to 4th year but only when you've applied for the scholarship. Without the scholarship, you need to pay the full fees.

This college has only one large building and a very small parking area. No campus grounds are there in the college. Due to the unavailability of sports ground, no outdoor sports have taken inside the college. Sports tournament events have taken outside the college sometimes on the GHRIET wadi campus.
