Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted a computer science related course what I couldn't secure because of my rank hence I had to go for electronics and communication. The faculty to student ration is about 1:20. The faculty consists of very highly qualified teachers.They use software and in person teaching. It is difficult to pass exams as compared to exams . Exams are kept at a regular basis which becomes very hectic provide no holidays are given in between exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
A normal general student pays about 3 lakhs per year including hostel fees. Financial assistance is provided to SC/ST students. Also many scholarships are offered to the students which exempt them from paying tution fees.Nunerous governmen and private scholarships are offered.
Campus Life
The second biggest college fest in India is conducted here in the month of March which is called Incident. Another tech fest called Engineer is conducted in the month of October. The college has 2 libraries. It consists od numerous journals,novels,books,etc. These are digital libraries. There are many clubs run by students called ieee,acm,ie,iste,kannada vedike,etc.Many facilities are provided for sports and sporting events.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility isn't that great. The buildings are very old. The bathrooms aren't that clean. The rooms Ober here leak in the rainy season. The mess food isn't that great. It's so bad on some days that you'll have to skip it.The hostel room and mess costs you around 40000 combined.
Admission
You have to secure a good rank in jee mains to get into this college. You can also get in through Dasa if you are a international student. You can register for jee mains when there is an official announcement. After securing a good rank you have to select the colleges you want to apply for. After allotment the college releases the official admission date where you have to go for document verification.
