Review about my college

I am in Information Technology branch. I choose this branch because I have huge interest in the field of computer and software things. I always enjoys to learn about new technlogies and new tool that can save human effort to do a particular task. I have a huge interest in software development and always ready to learn about how online tool and websites works. Lets talks about course in my department. If you talk about academic pressure, IT has less syllabus than CSE. But, approx 80% of syllabus are same for IT and CSE. Only the extra hardware part is in CSE. IT doesn't have hardware portion it is more oriented towars software portion. Now, If we talk about faculty members the are not good at all. They never teach you propelry and never cover your syllabus for your exam. You have to Study from online resources to pass your exams. Most of the faculty members are students of this college. They have did their graduation and post graduation from this college.

If I talk about placements I would say there is very few opportunities of placments. Most of the companies that visit in the college are mass recruiters only and they offer job of 2-3 lacs per annum. Some of the highlighted companies are TCS, Argusoft etc. Students are eligible for placements in the start of 4th year ( 7th Sem ). Highest placement that offered in this college was 7 lacs per annum. And most students gets 2-3 lacs placement here. If I talk about how many students gets placed here I would say It totally depends on your skills. But only about 10-20% students gets palced here. Rest of them have to try for differnet ways to get employment.

For completing your graduation you have to spent about 8-9 lakhs if you are a hosteller. But If your are a dayscholar then you have to spent about 5 lakhs. There is a scholorship which provides some students some amount to help in their fee payment. It is alumini scholorship which is funded by the alumini of this college. But very few students are selected for this scholorship.

If I talk about campus life I would say there is no any campus life in this college. There is no any such fest or tech fest that you can enjoy. There are 2 fests happens in college which are Anand Utsav and APEX. These are too below level fest. In these fest few stalls of food or book is installed in campus and some competetions happens in the college. No any DJ nights, No singers concert or any other activity happens during these fest.

If I talk about hostel. There are 4 hostels in this college 3 of them are for boys and 1 is for girls. 1st years hostel is newly built so it is in good condition and other hostels are not that good. Every basic facility is provided in hostel like cupboards, chairs, tables, and 24*7 water and electricty supply. And hostel staffs are very good. If I talk about mess and its food quality I would say It is below average. You would not get proper food. Especially If you are from other state than I am sure you are not going to like the food that are served here. You can not change mess menu here. You have to eat the local food that are served. If your are local then you might like these foods but If you are from other state then you might not like these foods.There is no such mess for other state students which can provide them food other than this. Also fees of mess is very high You would have to pay more than the academic fee for the mess only.

For taking admission in this college you can take admission on the basis of your board exam marks. You can get admission if you have minimum 40% marks in your board exam as well. For taking admission in CSE or IT branch you should have atleast 85% or more marks scored in your board exam. If you are from home state you might get reservation benefit. In this college 85% seats are reserved for home state students and rest 15% for other students as well as for home state. Previosly this college was taking admission on the basis of you JEE rank but after it changes it admission policies and now it is taking on the basis of 12 boards marks only.
